Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role for our client located in West Michigan. The Sr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for technical support and general system engineering for our clients.
Qualifications:
Strong System Engineering skills with experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience in Network Administration including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls. This would be secondary to Systems Engineering skills.
Technical Support experience in hardware, software, and remote support
Effective Troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identify and prevent technical issues
In-depth knowledge of Information Technology concepts and protocols
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA A are a plus

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Looking for someone with 5-10 years' experience.
Typically travel to client sites 3 days/week and be on-site at the client location days/week. Some remote work as needed.
Majority of the clients this person will be supporting are located in Grand Rapids.
This person will the face of our client at their client sites, so MUST have great interpersonal skills.
MSP experience is not necessary, but always helpful. Prior manufacturing experience would be a key asset.
